Athletic Bilbaum vs Brady Maccabi B
Athletic Bilbaum |
v | Brady Maccabi B |
Page Street, Mill Hill
NW7
There’s a top quality affair in store in NW7 when second takes on third in the division.
Winning has become a habit for the Baums this season with Mark Pasha and Ed Green’s total football working a treat.
Jake Gilbert started the season like a house on fire and in recent weeks Ben Bell has picked up the mantle on the goals front.
They were made to sweat against FC Team B last weekend but with Benjy "the Baker" Aarons-Richarson and Adam Bier putting in shifts the result was never in doubt.
The Baums will feel they have a score to settle with the Brady bunch who hit them for six in late August. Daniel Hildebrand played out of his skin that day, smashing home a hat-trick in a 6-2 win.
The boys in green and white have recovered superbly since then and will be looking to avenge that dark day.
Brady already had a top team and the addition of Josh Newman will only make them better. The former Lions A joint-manager will add physical presence and quality to the midfield engine room, allowing the talented Reiss Mogilner to get further forward.
The Rowley Lane outfit has attacking threats from all over the park so if you’re looking for a good advert for Jewish football this weekend, get down to Copthall.
Venue – Copthall, Ref – Steve Russell
JC star man: Benjy Aarons-Richarson (Bilbaum)
DC Prediction: Bilbaum 1 Brady 1
