Player name: Russell Corin
Position: GK
Goals this season:

Russell Corin received rave reviews from both managers after Sunday's Peter Morrison Trophy final.

He came into his own in the penalty shoot-out - saving three Oakwood spot-kicks.

Hendon boss David Garbacz told JC Sport: "Russell's performance was heroic in the shoot-out, including one of the best saves seen at this level from Oakwood's first penalty."

Oaks joint-boss Ric Blank added: "I think the outstanding save from Russell from Quinny's opening penalty spooked the boys. It was an unbelievable save and only at that moment did I feel we'd be defeated."

Asked if he'd be offering any words of advice to Phil Peters ahead of the CAC final, Blank replied: "Try and avoid Russell with your penalties!"
