NOMINATIONS

HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB

Ari Nevies (GK) -  a selfless, committed team player that stepped up and played in goal for the first time for the club and put in a great performance. Superb throughout

Moses Seitler (M) - fast, skilfulL, direct and delight for the team to have him back in the squad this week. Arguably one of the most talented in the league

-----------------

OAKWOOD B

Jordan Sherne (CM) - Brilliant today. Been a great summer signing and very assured on the ball

-----------------

TEMPLE FORTUNE A

Lee Fegan (GK) - brilliant in goal, pulled out the bag 3 fantastic saves

Brett Stead (D) - led our back 4 superbly

Conor Brand (M) - excellent, driving us forward and gave 200% for the entire 90 minutes

Simon Linden (Manager) - with his insightful knowledge of the opposition (doing his homework) he was able to set us up to make it hard for Los Blancos

-----------------

TEMPLE FORTUNE B

Anthony Beilin (CM) - with a baby due any minute, Ant was touch and go, right up until kick-off, as to whether he would be available. With no sign of a morning arrival, Beilin laced up and was man-of-the-match by a distance. The Scouser covered every blade of grass, was instrumental in our defensive play and was the foundation of all our good work going forwards

-----------------

BAYERN MINCHA

Sammy Leibert (RB) - an outstanding performance at full-back over 90 minutes, having the Oakwood winger in his pocket

Gavriel Nussbaum (CB) - a rock at the back today, with his best game for the club, clearing almost everything. Ella Bazini would have been proud of this

Adam Ellis (S) - three goals for him to take him into 14 I believe for the season. He was virtually unplayable and at times even dropped deeper to put in a defensive shift

-----------------

SCRABBLE FC

Craig Edwards (S) -A real handful as the target man up front and a hat-trick

Zak McLeod (RB/S) - started at right back later up front scoring a hat-trick

Josh Pugh (M) - captain again led by example in midfield and scored

Rob Rodney (M) - created so many chances with some great passes

Dan Green (M) - general denied the L'Equipe players at every opportunity winning every challenge

Ben Cantopher (CB) - returning from injury rock solid at the heart of the Scrabble defence

Adam Newman (CB) - brilliant defensive qualities and a threat from the back bringing the ball out to set up play for the team

-----------------

MACCABI LONDON LIONS BLUE

Nick Barnett (CM) - A superb and solid performance in the middle of the park, controlled the game together with Adam Abadi and got rewarded for his efforts with a lovely strike to win the game

Adam Abadi (CM) - A top quality performance in the holding midfield role, controlled the game with Nick Barnett, breaking up the play whilst also creating problems for the opposition

-------------------

CAMDEN PARK

Ben Harris (D) - first game in three months, bright, positive and shone through the the game

David Khalastchi (M) - change of position yet dominated throughout and scored a great goal

-------------------

LOS BLANCOS

Joel Barnett (CB) - put in a real captain's performance, very solid at the back

--------------------

STRAW HAT PIRATES

Aron Gale (ST) - two goals, including one absolute screamer that had no business going in the goal, but magically made it

James Van Straten (LB) - the ever versatile James VS had another outstanding game, keeping their "loudmouth winger" quiet the whole game. Took some bruises for his troubles, but not everyone has the class that James Van Straten has

Simeon Cohen (CB): led the backline like the experienced leader that he is. Read the game well, put some outstanding balls towards their goal, and worked well with his partner …

Jake Yudelowitz (CB) - Jake had a dream debut. Relaxed, and composed at the back, he was a brick wall that Faithfold defence couldn’t knock down. He got involved the second goal with some brilliant football, worked well with his partner Simeon and looks like he will be an ever-present face throughout the season!

Saul Tiano (RB) - another outstanding performance from another ever-present player within our squad. Tiano dealt with attackers, took on defenders and improves in every game he plays
