Hendon B produced one of the performances of the day as they upset the formbook to place a huge dent in Woodford's title hopes with a 3-0 win in east London.

After watching DAVID GARFINKLE smash home a hat-trick, jubilant Hendon boss Aryeh Goldring told JC Sport: "It was a really organised performance which we controlled from start to finish.

"It's been a frustrating season where we have missed our best players for large parts. We have already started building for next season regardless of which division we end up in and hope to end the season with two more wins."

Disappointed Woodford boss Tony Charles told JC Sport: "Today's performance was below-par - to lose in the manner that we did against a team at the bottom of the league is unacceptable.

"We turned up expecting to win, and their mind-set wasn't right from the start.

"In truth the boys had more tequila shots last night then shots on goal this morning. I would rather put my crown jewels in an egg-slicer then pick some of those players again!"
