Jason Goldstein and Mitch Hahn sent Woodford Wanderers back to joint-top spot as they edged past Neasden.
This was a game that was won with two very well-taken goals by Woodford after NWN had taken the lead through a Jamie Cooper penalty.
A very tight game was in the balance until the last kick of the game were Woodford cleared off the line twice in a thrilling finale as NWN pushed to get a equaliser.
NWN boss Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "For me, the difference between the sides was Mitch Hahn - coming on in the first half, and he gave Woodford that something special, and was involved in every thing good Woodford did.
"I was very proud of my players in the way they stuck to their task in very poor conditions. As I reported during the week, we went in to the game with out seven first-team players, and this was our first game for seven weeks. We also had to bring on our only sub in the first half, so for us to of taken a very strong Woodford side to the last kick of the game shows as a club how far we have come.
"No question we deserved to get at least a point from the game with the effort put in by the boys, but that's football."
