Woodford made it two out of two with one goal from Paul Billar settling their match against Brixton at Clowes.
The Wanderers put in a solid, performance. Lining up without some key players, including Mitch Hahn, the visitors showed tremendous fight and character which proved too much for Brixton.
Wanderers created a good opening in the second minute after James Ryan outpaced his marker and floated a cross where the Brixton goalkeeper caught Harrison Midda's header.
Wanderers enjoyed periods of pressure, with the ever-impressive Adam Poole in the heart of defence.
Billar settled the contest, tapping in from close range after tremendous work from Midda.
Woodford finished the game with 10 men after one of their players received two yellow cards.
Brixton player-manager Scott Smith told JC Sport: "Overall we must've had 15 or 16 chances and only have ourselves to blame for not winning the game."
Smith went on to say that he was deeply disappointed with Woodford's physical approach. He said: "Woodford are one of the most disgusting teams I've played again. I got the impression that they had only come to have a fight, but there's no way we were outmuscled or outplayed."
