Jewdinese ran out 3-1 winners at the Lodge, as Darren Lawrence's troops maintained their excellent run of form.
The visitors made a fantastic start to the game with an excellent finish by none other than top-scorer Ben Berrick.
Faithfold rallied well and created a number of chances but Jewdinese held firm to go in ahead at the break.
At half-time everybody in the Jewdinese camp knew that they had the ability to kill the game off, but they started the second half slowly and Josh Barnett equalised in the opening stages of the second half.
From then on the game was Faithfold and Jewdinese struggled to keep the ball for more than a few passes at a time. Chance after chance was being wasted by Faithfold and it took the visitors until the 70th minute to realise that they needed to step up their game.
A bad challenge on Sim Cohen gave them their first chance of the half through a free kick that went just over the bar. Everything seemed to be going against Jewdinese as Ben Halmer hit the bar, but when a penalty was given with 10 minutes to go it appeared their luck had changed. Sim Cohen stepped up and fired a shot into the bottom corner leaving the keeper with no chance. Ashley Lawrence scored shortly after to secure the points.
Jewdinese chairman Jake Erlich told JC Sport: "I had to refresh my phone a good five times until I actually believed that Norstar and L'Equipe had both lost. To be dominated the whole game yet come away with three points shows great character amongst our players and gives us the belief that we can go on and finish the job."
