Daniel Alfreds and Paul Savitz ensured Division Two football for FC Team B next season, but the future looks bleak for Faithfold B.
Ben Rosenblatt put Faithfold ahead, but a stunning strike from Savitz followed by an effort from Alfreds after 70 minutes settled the contest.
FC Team boss David Gordon told JC Sport: "There were a lot of stern words said at half time and we were much improved in the second half after a poor first half. We’re relieved to stay in the league and we’ll look to finish as high as possible now.
"Commiserations to Faithfold; I’ve played in many memorable games against Rob’s teams and no doubt they will be back stronger. We have certainly played against worse sides this season.
"It’s great to go into the cup game without the worry of relegation looming over us and hopefully we can enjoy the game and maybe surprise a few people."
Faithfold assistant-manager Dan Yoss told JC Sport: "We're very disappointed with the result and probably even more so the performance.
"We didn't turn up and have to take a long look at ourselves. I feel most for our manager Rob as he's put a lot of effort this year, it's a shame we couldn't pay him back on the pitch.
"Relegation looks almost certain - it's a big disappointment, but I feel there's a great core of lads here and providing we don't have the wretched luck we had this year we'll be a lot stronger next season.
"Well done to Paul Savitz and Josh Kaye…two former players who both played well
