Defending champions Faithfold were pushed all the way by newly-promoted Camden, but in the end a goal from Dan Howard sealed the points.

Faithfold started sluggishly again and their passing was not up to scratch. They stepped it up in the second half and levelled through Johnny Haik before Howard cracked home the winner with 20 remaining.

Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: ""We really haven't hit any consistency this year, but have ground out results. I think when we do hit form we will be very strong."

Commenting on Camden's performance, Solomon added: "I think they have the makings of a good team and should do okay this year. They have some good players and work hard and gave us a game today."
