A brilliant brace from Sam Reeves inspired defending champions Faithfold A to an emphatic 4-0 win over struggling Lions White.

Further goals from Rocky Spitzer and Mike Pearson sealed the win.

Faithfold boss Zuriel Solomon told JC Sport: "I'm happy with the performance today and clean sheet against a very young Lions team with a few old heads in the team.

"We were very comfortable today and played some good football. Lions were not at there strongest and are going through a transitional period, but we had to make sure we didn't give them any belief. We hit the bar three times and should have scored a couple more, but the windy conditions made it a bit difficult.

"Ben Law was virtually a bystander as Lions didn't even have a shot. New signing Jake Gotlieb and Sam Reeves dominated today which was very encouraging."

LML boss Eilon Kennet told JC Sport: "The under 18s acquitted themselves really well, but it was a tough introduction to men's football.

"Men against boys really, but they will now be a regular part of the LML-Whites."
