Chairman ZAC BRIN (3) and Jake Erlich (2) led the way as Jewdinese registered a stunning win over Hendon C.

Hendon slumped to a heavy defeat against Jewdinese after a performance in which manager Adam Glekin described as their "worst of the season".

Hendon were slow out of the blocks and conceded two sloppy early goals which is becoming a worryingly familiar story.

Jewdinese then settled into the game and got a goal scored by chairman Jake Erlich after he lobbed the keeper from just within the box.

A few minutes after the other chairman Zac Brin scored a great goal after smashing it into the top corner of the net giving the keeper no chance.

Darren Lawrence was full of praise at half time after a solid performance from every player on the pitch, especially Joe Meisel who was pulling the strings on the centre of midfield.

Despite improving after the break, Jewdinese scored a third on the counter attack as Brin scored his second of the game and the match looked out of reach for Hendon. before Ezra Dulberg scored a sublime solo goal - Picking the ball up 40 yards from goal on the right wing there seemed no danger, but he slalomed his way through a number of challenges before finishing brilliantly with his weaker left foot.

The game was all Jewdinese from then on and we started to play some great football with James Ross coming on to strengthen their midfield even more. Joe Meisel was fouled in the box to win a penalty and after some debate between Sim and Zac over who should take it, it was decided that Zac 'Zlatan' Brin would take it to seal his hat-trick. After scoring the penalty he fell to his knees and a bundle occurred to mark a great performance from the Jewdinese chairman.

To finish the match completely Erlich scored his second of the game after a solo goal which started from the byline and ended with beating the keeper at his near post. The celebration topped off an enjoyable performance for the Zebras after showing off his fantastic gymnastic skills with the Robbie Keane cartwheel celebration. The game ended 5-1.

Jewdinese player-chairman Jake Erlich told JC Sport: "A great result and great performance for the boys. Hendon were superb in their character to not give up even when they went 3-0 down and full credit to them for giving everything for 90 minutes.

"It's disappointing that after a great game of football, petty comments have been left about us, but we won't let it get to us and will just prove to everyone that we can compete. I spoke to the ref after and no negative comments were said so it's a surprise to me that they can make those comments. However they are a good team and expect them to do well this season."

Jewdinese boss Darren Lawrence told JC Sport: "Zac Brin got a hat-trick, Jake Erlich got 2, I might have to register myself to get in on the act.

"A great performance from every one of my players and I cannot fault anyone. Now for a big game against Whetstone next week."

Hendon manager Adam Glekin told JC Sport: "It was not a good day at the office for us. Pretty much everything that could have gone wrong did.

"We were already down to our bare bones with only 11 available, two of which were carrying injuries and we had Joni Kleiman pull his hamstring to make matters worse.

"Even excusing this, we were poor all over the pitch and didn't deserve anything from the game. We were outplayed and outfought by Jewdinese, though I have to say a look at the respect the ref campaign wouldn't go amiss on their side."
