Harmen win five-goal thriller
|2 - 3|
Alex Bowman, Lee Greenfield and Sam Castle earned Harmen their third league win of the campaign as they won a five-goal thriller against Blancos.
In tough conditions the Harmen boys came through, winning a big three points. They surged into a 2-0 lead at half time and seemed to be cruising. Bowman scored his first goal for Harmen with a sensational chip over the Blancos keeper. Lee Greenfield scored the 2nd with a superb strike 25 yards out, it left the keeper with no chance.
However yet again we let a 2-0 advantage at half time slip away with Blancos levelling the game at 2-2 with 15 to go through Darren Russell and James Joseph.
But the Harmen boys got on going again and player-manager Sam Castle broke the offside trap and slotted home to make it 3-2.
Harmen joint-manager Joel Alterman told JC Sport: "It was a tough game, with the weather acting as a leveller, however we battled on the pitch and couldn’t be happier with all three points. We must show that spirit every week.
"Next up for us is Neasden at home which will be another tough test, but one we are looking forward to."
