Glorious Green hits the jackpot
|1 - 4|
A brilliant treble from BARRY GREEN earned Loughton Orient claim their first win as they eased past Temple Fortune in Pinner.
James Lester completed a good morning's work for Dan Curtis' men.
The game started quite evenly for 20 minutes until Orient made the breakthrough. Some good work down the Orient left to cut open the Fortune defence left James Lester with a simple tap-in.
The second came just before the break. Dan Curtis put a ball into the box which Dan Shafron brilliantly flicked on to give Green a one-on-one with the keeper which he coolly slotted home.
It was one-way traffic in the second half and the game was effectively over when Green scored to make it 3-0.
The fourth goal came soon after a perfect through ball from captain Ryan Kissin sent Green through on goal for his third and Orient's fourth.
Fortune scored a consolation near the end.
Orient manager Dan Curtis told JC Sport: "It was a solid performance today and we needed it. That should kickstart our season.
"Next week we have a home game against Hendon and it's important we follow this up with another three points."
