Five-star L'Orange on the up
|5 - 1|
Norstar London Raiders C showed excellent bouncebackability skills to stop King Crown in their tracks with a handsome 5-1 success.
Three goals from LUKE GOLDSMITH lifted L'Orange into second place.
Hat-trick hero Goldsmith's first goal since October 2012
A wonderful solo goal from Alex Goodman and one from Oli Nathan completing the scoring.
Mark Posner replied for King Crown.
Norstar's David Domb, who was standing in for manager Zack Gothelf, was delighted with Goldsmith's first goals since October 2012, as well as the team performance.
He told JC Sport: "After last week, the guys knew we had to put in a performance today. We meant business from the start, playing some wonderful free-flowing football that King Crown found hard to live with, and we could and perhaps should have been more than 2-0 up at half time.
"We got a third at the start of the second to take the sting out of the game and the boys made sure they got the job done. We were dominant throughout but the boys didn't let their levels drop. I'm delighted with their reaction to last week's disappointment.
"We're in the mix at the top of the table and we believe we have the talent to remain up there. We need to take today's performance into the Loughton game next weekend."
