FC Team C flexed their muscles ahead of the big game against promotion rivals Redbridge B with a 4-0 demolition of Oakwood in Mill Hill.

A double from David Joseph Cohen and one apiece from Jamie Breslaw and Joel Ross clinched the points.

FC Team joint-manager Michael Myers told JC Sport: "It was a comfortable victory for Team in the end. Although a sluggish start, wegot into full flow by the end of the first half, with some very well-worked passages of play leading to a 2-0 advantage at half time.

"We dominated the second half and secured victory with a further two goals. A classy performance from the boys in yellow and blue."

Oaks boss Ian Tussie told JC Sport: "T’was a tricky morning for us against Team who were up for it like rabid dogs and gunning for promotion. They’re a good team with a few nice players, but above all they’re very fit and they have consistently got the same bunch of players out every week - given that, it’s not a surprise they’re competing for promotion.

"We started brightly and had a few chances, with Dan Selwyn pulling some strings in the trequartista role and Dave Woolman very dangerous playing on the shoulder, but be didn’t score when we had our best spell and then they took over. Saying that we were architects of our own downfall gifting them three of their four goals.

"We have one game left this season on April 13. I’m meeting the board tomorrow to discuss my future, they know I want to leave and I know they want me to leav,e so I think we can come to a final solution whereby I leave.

"It's not been easy with this cloud hanging over my head, but hopefully it’ll break soon. The fans have been amazing, chanting my name at the Pavilion End at Old Camdenians and I gave my shirt to one of them after the game (he threw it back at me out of respect) and I want to thank them for following the team this season through thick and thicker.

"We finish at home to FC Team B and we’ll do a lap of honour at the end of the game to thank the fans for their continued support and our club sponsor Woody ‘Woody’s’ Grill will have a pop-up stall and is running a fans’ competition after the game for someone to win a free meal deal at any of their outlets in April."
