Faithfold B make their mark
|3 - 3|
Burton Hole Lane, London NW7
Dan Yoss says Faithfold B are on the up even though he came away from the six-goal thriller against fellow strugglers FC Team B with some regrets.
An improving Faithfold registered their first point of the season thanks to goals from Oliver Telvi, Ben Rosenblatt and Doron Hershkorn, but Yoss believes the result could and should have been better.
Faithfold boss Dan Yoss told JC Sport: "We should have taken all three points today and feel slightly hard done by two late goals.
"We dominated the game and it really could have been five or six. It was a great team performance and just shows how far we've come in this short time.
"We're are on the rise and only going to get better."
Two more goals from goalkeeper-turned outfield star Matt Davis plus one from Daniel Alfreds secured a point for the Team.
FC Team player-manager David Gordon told JC Sport: "We had 11 players unavailable, but still managed to claim a late and deserved draw. We obviously wanted the three points but the way we fought right to the end and claimed the draw felt like a victory and there was a great positivity in the changing room after the game. I hope that those last five minutes can be a turning point for the rest of the season.
"The boys on the pitch deserve all the credit for not letting their heads go down and had the game gone on for another five minutes then I think we would have won it.
"We also need a bit more luck with injuries as we had two more players drop out with injury on Saturday and one more today."
