Consistency the name of the game for red-hot Gordon
|5 - 1|
DAN GORDON boosted his chances of winning the Golden Boot with a four-goal blitz helping Faithfold C destroy Temple Fortune at Chase Lodge.
The summer signing maintained his goal-a-game record in style, with Elliot Bloom completing the rout with a 40-yard pile-driver.
Richard Cooper had equalised for Fortune who appeared to lose heart after Faithfold scored a second.
Jubilant Faithfold player-manager David Garson told JC Sport: "An excellent team performance finally!"
Fortune boss Jonathan Cohen said: "I'm extremely disappointed by this result. Our heads dropped after they went ahead and we just fell apart."
