King Crown recorded their sixth league win of the season as they saw off an in-form Fortune in a seven-goal thriller in Pinner.

Danny Navazesh, Sacha Nusenbaum, Ben Retter and Yoel Deal were the marksmen for Crown.

Crown forged ahead inside the first five minutes when great play down the wing from Matt Tahan allowed Nusenbaum to slot into the bottom right.

The visitors missed a series of chances in the second half and were made to pay as Fortune forged ahead, but Crown rallied and Deal played a great ball to Navazesh who dinked it over the keeper for a classy finish.

Deal scored direct from a corner (he claims he meant it) and it was left to super-sub Retter to complete the scoring - coming off the bench to claim his first for the club. Manager Jacob Kadoch told JC Sport: " He celebrated like a kid who had an overdose of sugar.

Fortune scored a third with five to go, but Crown held on to take the points.

Michael Goldberg (2) and Darren Zetrin accounted for the Fortune goals.

King Crown boss Jacob Kadoch told JC Sport: "The scoreline was very flattering on Fortune."

Fortune boss Jonathan Cohen told JC Sport: "Of course I feel disapppointed with the result because we were hoping to continue our recent good form.

"Losing Dave Sawyer, who had done very well for us lately, to illness was a big blow. But well done to King Crown anyway."
