Chigwell warmed-up for next week's Morrison tie against South Manchester with a stunning win at leaders Harmen, with Ryan Cole and Dan Castle doing the damage.

Cole put the visitors ahead after 15 minutes. Harmen levelled when Sam Castle latched on to a Lee Greenfield past to slot home.

But a sensational Chigwell counter-attack culminated in Castle applying a cool finish to seal the points 10 minutes before the interval.

Delighted Chigwell boss Richard Slater told JC Sport: "It was a good, all-round performance and a deserved victory.

"We should've won by more, but didn't take our chances."

Harmen joint-manager Joel Alterman told JC Sport: "We didn’t turn up as a team, we played as 11 individuals on a football pitch and didn’t move the ball around on the floor as we know we can. The only time in the game we did that, we scored.

"Chigwell played to their strengths and the long-ball over the top caught us out all too often, with James Castle making a couple of saves to keep the score line to what it was.

"A disappointing day for all in blue, but lessons learned and we now look to our final game of the season and hope to finish on a positive note."
