Josh Dagul praised his Brady B players after they returned to winning ways against arch rivals SPEC FC.

Reiss Mogilner (2) and Josh Newman steered them to victory in a match played at a fast and frenetic pace.

Dan Henig pulled one back for SPEC with the goal of the game.

"It was an enjoyable game played with a very competitive spirit and fast tempo," Josh Dagul told JC Sport.

"SPEC came out all guns blazing, but after weathering the early storm and going behind we took control of the game and ran out deserved winners in the end."

SPEC's Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: ""I thought it was a really good game today and despite a lot of strong challenges going in the ref let the game flow which helped.

"Brady were the better team in the second half and probably deserved the win. It was a hard fought game but they took their chances when they got them and fair play to them.

"We now have the Raiders game to look forward to in the Cyril Anekstein Cup next week and then we really have to start picking up the points in the league."
