Jubilant Joel gives Brady a boost
Brady Maccabi A have made hard work of their first few games of the season. At times, they've flattered to deceive, I'd say. After a successful summer transfer window, Joel Nathan and Josh Rosenfeld pulled off some major coups, most notably Ben Joseph and Matt Sofier. Until Sunday, they had under-achieved, and the signs didn't look great as Brixton stormed into a 2-0 lead. But then something happened ...
Nathan made a tweak here and a tweak there, and before you know it, they were playing fantasy football. It finished 5-2 to Brady and there are signs that Nathan has got them exactly where he wants there.
He told JC Sport: "Overall it was a very good performance in very tough conditions. Despite going two goals down early in the second half, I always thought we were always in control and once we finally found the net we never looked back.
"It was great to get a win under our belt after some disappointing results and now with some boys getting back to fitness, I am sure we can go on a good run and show everyone in the league what we are about."
