LfI attracts 500 to its conference fringe event

Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Foreign Secretary David Miliband both spoke about the situation in the Middle East to the 500-strong audience at the Labour Friends of Israel's annual reception at party conference. The gathering was also addressed by Colette Avital MK, the Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, who had travelled from Israel for the conference.
