A big crowd flocks to hackney’s first limmud

More than 700 people were attracted to the inaugural Hackney Day Limmud. The programme offered learning sessions, exhibitions, films, klezmer and African drummers. Co-chair Steve Brown said that the event, held at the Petchey Academy, was a success. "We will definitely do it again," he said.
