Mr Smith had served as a governor and trustee of the school for more than 40 years.Manchester Reform Synagogue members Sheva and Alex Samely hosted a Pesach cookery course at their home. The 30 participants exchanged, sampled and shared the essence of Pesach cooking.The Altrincham Interfaith Group’s Shared Supper brought together more than 130 local Christians, Hindus, Jews and Muslims at the Altrincham Grammar School for its eighth annual event which raised more than £600 for the work of the group.
