Young professionals gave a boost to the charity Jewish Blind and Disabled this weekend at a party in London.

The event, arranged to mark the third birthday of the Young JBD committee, saw £3,000 raised to support the building of mobility apartments.

Cancer care, research and treatment were the focus of this year’s Ron Arad Lecture hosted by the British Technion Society.

The event, held at the Royal College of Physicians, raised more than £100,000 for the Technion’s cancer research programme.
