Join the Jewish Social Action Forum for the launch of the Jewish Community’s Environmental Campaign. The Forum is made up of the community’s key organisations with the JCC taking a lead role.
We’ll be screening The Age of Stupid, a drama-documentary starring Pete Postlethwaite as an old man living in the devastated world of 2055, watching “archive” footage from 2008 and asking: why didn’t we stop climate change while we had the chance? (Watch an interview with the director.)
Following the film we will be joined by Secretary of State for Energy and Climate Change, Ed Miliband, for a Q & A which will be chaired by journalist Jonathan Freedland. This will be the Secretary of State’s keynote address to the Jewish community in the run-up to the Copenhagen climate talks in December.
