In an evening produced by YaD Arts for the JCC for London, the F-IRE Collective Large Ensemble presents two UK premieres: Hear, O Israel, and Four Pieces for Peace. Hear O, Israel incorporates the core prayers of a traditional Friday night service arranged for eleven jazz musicians including four singers. The work will be performed in the UK for the first time. Four Pieces for Peace, is a suite of meditation on the prospects and dreams of a more friendly future. Performing as part of the collective will be leading UK jazz singers Osnat Schmool, Cleveland Watkiss, Heidi Vogel and Marcina Arnold.
