Join leading British artist, broadcaster and blogger Grayson Perry in conversation with Jacky Klein, author of a major monograph on Perry's work.
They discuss his life and art from his childhood and transvestism to wider questions about class struggle, psychotherapy, religion and bad taste.
The talk will be followed by a special book signing.
Grayson Perry, RA works in sculpture, print-making, embroidery and drawing but he is best known for his beautiful ceramic vases decorated with shocking and unconventional imagery. He won the Turner Prize in 2003 and has an exhibition this autumn at the British Museum. Recently he was made a member of the Royal Academy. He lives and works in London and Sussex.
Jacky Klein is an art historian and writer specializing in 20th-century and contemporary art. Formerly a curator at London’s Hayward Gallery, she now works in publishing.
