The Woolf Institute is pleased to announce a forthcoming public lecture hosted by the Cambridge Muslim College. On Wednesday 30th May at 5pm Professor Fred Astren will deliver a public lecture on "Comparing Mourning and Burial Practices in Medieval Judaism and Islam". Fred Astren is a Visiting Fellow of the CMJR and Professor and Chair of the Department of Jewish Studies at San Francisco State University.
