Sir Victor Blank is a British Business Ambassador and Country Advisor in the UK to TPG Capital. He began his career as a solicitor, becoming a Partner at Clifford-Turner. He joined investment banking group, Charterhouse, in 1981, serving as Chief Executive and Chairman and became a Director of the Royal Bank of Scotland. Sir Victor has also chaired major U.K. companies, Trinity Mirror; GUS plc and Lloyds Banking Group. His wide range of other business, commercial and charitable interests include becoming the first external member of the Council of Oxford University.
