Across the world, people are abandoning the need for constant visual stimulation and opening their imaginations to the possibilities of communal listening.
We have invited Sarah Peters (Guardian Audio Journalist & JCC podcast producer) to curate an innovative and intimate evening of exciting audio work about East London.
The brand new audio piece will include:
The bewildering legend of the man who sold pants on Petticoat Lane
The nightly fight of the hipsters and taxi-drivers in search of bagels.
Also including classic audio work by Radio 3 world DJ Max Reinhardt, sound artists and award-winning broadcaster Alan Dein.
Held at 202 Brick Lane, an intimate cafe with a chequered past, serving local East End Beer and East End roasted Coffee.
Like the old days of gathering around the radio, settle into your seats, close your eyes and be transported across time, geography and reality.
