Yom Kippur on campus attracted nearly 200 students from across the region. The service, held at the University of Birmingham's chaplaincy, was led by students Natan Silver, Stuart Izon, David Remington, Michael Rainsbury and Josh Bomsztyk. The West Midlands chaplain, Rabbi Fishel Cohen, gave a sermon and Rabbi Yaakov Singer led an explanatory session. Mr Rainsbury said: "It was a great example of why Birmingham's student minyanim are so well-attended. It was a youth-led, serious service with a welcoming atmosphere."
