Plans to recruit young committee members

As the curtain came down at the climax of the eighth Leeds Jewish International Performing Arts Festival chairman Stanley Cundle said that he planned to launch a recruitment drive for young committee members. Mr Cundle said that as the festival, which sold a record 3,500 tickets, tended to attract a more senior age group, he felt it needed to reach out to a younger audience, especially to see cutting-edge comedy acts such as Josh Howie and US group Good for the Jews.
