Local musician Polina Shepherd conducts cross-communal Chutzpah choir at the Friends' Meeting House

Local musician Polina Shepherd conducted the 23 members of the cross-communal Chutzpah choir and sang two solos in a concert at the Friends' Meeting House, Brighton. The choir performed in Yiddish, Hebrew, Russian and Ukrainian. One hundred people attended the event which was part of Brighton Festival of World Sacred Music. The festival also included Israeli-born singer Mor Karbasi, who performed in Hebrew and Ladino to a capacity audience of 270 people at Brighton's Sallis Benney Theatre.
