The Harrogate art dealer who discovered the work of Leeds artist Joash Woodrow made a plea for more information about the artist at a Jewish Historical Society meeting. Many of the 40-strong audience reminisced about the artist who had lived in Chapel Allerton and Mr Stewart said he wanted to find out more about the artist's early years. Mr Stewart, who is hoping to arrange an exhibition of the artist's work in Israel, can be contacted on 01423 709 108. The event was held at the United Hebrew Congregation.
