Drama group scoops five awards for Chaim's Love Song

Limelight drama group scooped five awards at the Wharfe-dale Festival of Theatre Awards, held at St Mary's School, Menston.

The group's entry for this year's competition, Chaim's Love Song, by Marvin Chernoff, was performed at the Carriageworks Theatre in February. Awards were made to actors Lawrence Gorsden, Margaret Silver and Harry Venet. The play also won a runner-up award for best overall production. Best director award went to Malcolm Taylor.
