JCoSS, the inclusive Jewish secondary school opening in Barnet in 2010, has raised £5.5 million towards its £10 million target in just over five months. The news was released this week as JCoSS announced its first 11 governors.
The governors — including two school heads, marketing experts, a lawyer and a circuit-court judge —will be joined by chair and vice-chair Robert Shrager and Mike Grabiner, whose appointments were announced previously.
Mr Shrager was delighted “not just by the quantity but the quality of the applications which we received”.
The governors are Ian Abrahams, Alon Avner, Emma Cravitz, Pam Goldsmith, Joanne Harris, Helena Miller, Fredda Hurwitz, Irene Kay, Jeremy Kosky, Robert Lobatto and Lisa Wimborne.
