Three hundred members of the Leeds community celebrated the royal wedding at The Zone, where the brunch programme offered something for all tastes.
The venue was suitably decorated thanks to the efforts of Zone members, Brodetsky Primary pupils and cubs and brownies.
Monarchists and the causually interested watched big screen coverage of the ceremony. Younger participants were catered for by arts and crafts activities, circus entertainers, bouncy castles and a penalty shoot-out.
All children received a "royal lunch box", with Union Jack emblem.
Adults enjoyed a traditional English-style tea with sandwiches, scones and cupcakes.
