More than 3,000 pupils from over 50 secondary schools are participating in the annual Northwood Holocaust educational programme.
Sessions will be held at Northwood United Synagogue and Northwood and Pinner Liberal Synagogue — the joint organisers — as well as at St Albans Masorti and the US communities at Belmont, Bushey, Borehamwood and Watford.
Students will hear from survivors and participate in workshops about the Holocaust and its impact on contemporary issues such as racism, discrimination, persecution and citizenship.
