Don't be surprised Brit if somebody tries to discredit this by saying Haaretz is 'leftist.'

I don't think someone who can't spell or punctuate should be casting nasturtiums about other people's IQ, boyo.

A 'collective IQ,' would be entirely pointless, the measure exists to gauge the intelligence of an indvidual...

So well done there...

humm I didn't realise that there was some correlation between punctuating correctly and IQ. Perhaps you can point me to this research ?

Sigh ... you take the collective IQ before you divide it by the number of subjects, thus arriving at the mean IQ.
You have just proved my point, Ellis.

And IQ doesn't gauge 'intelligence'. The two concepts are quite distinct.

Next!

Inability to punctuate correlates quite closely with inability to think logically, to separate the expression of distinct ideas into distinct clauses and link them so as to form a logical argument.

If in your 'profession' you can get away with spelling you're as your, boyo, I don't think much of this 'profession'.

Ellis, I assure you that IQ does no such thing. That may have been the original intention, but if so then it was a hope with no realistic basis in fact. Intelligence covers vast areas that IQ tests don't even begin to touch upon.

'Emotional intelligence' is a fuzzy and pretty meaningless concept. I am a fierce critic of the usefulness of IQ tests (despite perhaps giving a different impression above), but compared with 'emotional intelligence' they are in a different league entirely.

'And yes, Ha'Aretz, which used to be an excellent paper, became a Guardian wannabe in the early 1980s'

And there we have it right there.... maybe because I said it, it became something of a self-fulfilling prophecy.

There is no equivalence at all. I responded to something you had already said, you were commenting on something you thought others may say in the future. Having trouble with the arrow of time concept, Ellis?

There was no "self-fulfilling prophecy". This is more of the same fallacious stuff. I was commenting on something you had already said. I wouldn't have mentioned it otherwise.
