Anti-Semitism and the left

The left was originally allied with the Zionists as a marriage of convenience. When it was the Jews versus the British Empire, it suited their political agenda. Once Israel took off the ground and became successful, the left no longer needed it. They found a new so called oppressed group to champion, the Palestinians.
It doesn't matter to the left why anyone is downtrodden. If you're in dire straits, why analyze how you got there? Just trot out some convenient villains.
Listening to liberal excuses for peoples failure has all the sophistication of Batman. In that tv show, there were always 3 villains; The Joker, The Riddler, and The Penguin. At least Batman was comic relief.
