- that is totally wrong. The Yom Kippur War broke out with intelligence chiefs NOT giving ANY warnings: this is fully documented many times over.
Almost 40 years later, the name of THE intelligence chief at the outbreak of the Yom Kippur war, Major-General Eli Zeira, is still a name lacking in respect.
