Most of the activity is carried out by anarchists and Left-wing activists. The protest begins like every protest. At the start there are speeches, then the pushing begins, slowly, slowly. Left-wing activists who are the front then pass to the sides and Palestinian youths aged 16-23 go to the back and throw rocks. Left-wing activists are the one who incite the atmosphere and Palestinians are the ones who throw the rocks."

I often wonder why the Palestinians failed to declare their cherished independent state at any time between 1948 and 1967 . After all there was no occupation and no settlements back then . Of course it's purely a rhetorical question as it's readily apparent that statehood was never the burning issue . The only issue then as now was the obsessive pathological determination to destroy an existing nation state using every means including terrorism as well as state warfare . Unfortunately for the Palestinians , Nassers promise to drive the Jews into the sea failed somewhat spectacularly following the 6 day war and the Palestinians took the proverbial 50 steps back and now need to retrieve those 50 steps in order to arrive at the original starting position .
The thing that never ceases to amaze me is the Arab ability to imagine Israelis to be fools . After all they are repeatedly on record stating that any 2 state solution is merely a temporary fix . Some like Abbas attach to the so called ROR of several hundred million ( ok I know it's an exaggeration but then again so is 4 million or whatever the latest fantasy figure happens to be . Hamas don't even go that far . It's the river to the sea or nothing as far as they are concerned . Hence the Palestinians remain as they are and will remain for the forseeable future . Led by existential nihilists and exploited by ruthless dictators and the soon to be new order of Arab fundamentalism in the looming Arab winter , their nation state looks a distant mirage despite the venal recognition by UNESCO .

This is how they seek to win the East. The army confiscates farmland of Palestinian villages, gives it to a bunch of nearby Israeli thieves, and forcibly prevents the villagers from accessing it.
