Like I said....

The week of violence in Navi Saleh is ALWAYS started by the IOF.
Each Friday, the villagers walk along the road in the direction of their farmland and water source. The IOF stand in their way. Then when they reach a certain range, they attack the marchers with water cannon, tear gas, and sound grenades. The villagers get mad, and some of the more hot headed young men turn to hurling stones at the IOF. And so it escalates.
The IOF violence is justified by having declared the march an illegal demonstration.
There are no legal demonstrations in areas DIRECTLY CONTROLLED by Israel. Act 101 of the Military Acts in power in these areas, says that any ten people “walking around, or gathering in order to move around from place to place, for a political purpose, or for any issue which may be considered political, whether they’re actually moving or not” is an illegal assembly. An illegal assembly is also any “ten people or more, who gathered together in a place where a speech is made on a political issue, or an issue which may be considered political, or to debate such an issue.
In other words, within the areas directly controlled by Israel, non-Jews are not allowed to engage in political activity. So what kind of activity would you have them engage in?
None of this applies to Jews. No apartheid here?
The IOF is not even allowed to arrest Jews, not even if (as is occurring frequently) they are attacking the IOF itself. No apartheid here?

And so it was last Friday. Whatever happened to his black jacket, hat, and baggy jeans?

Go and look up what it means the comparison only exists in your facile imagination. |

14 December, 2011 - 11:14 Rate this: 0 points | I often wonder why the Palestinians failed to declare their cherished independent state at any time between 1948 and 1967 . After all there was no occupation and no settlements back then . Of course it's purely a rhetorical question as it's readily apparent that statehood was never the burning issue . The only issue then as now was the obsessive pathological determination to destroy an existing nation state using every means including terrorism as well as state warfare . Unfortunately for the Palestinians , Nassers promise to drive the Jews into the sea failed somewhat spectacularly following the 6 day war and the Palestinians took the proverbial 50 steps back and now need to retrieve those 50 steps in order to arrive at the original starting position . |

That's pretty much how it happens in Bil'in too. The villagers walk towards their groves that they are illegally excluded from and the army starts all the aggro.
