Israeli spoof is hit in the Arab world

Noy Aloosha, a 31yo Israeli journalist and musician, made a mockery of Qaddafi by dubbing in a song over his speech; so now we see him but hear "Hey Baby" by Pitbull. It is titled Zenga-zenga, in echo of the word zanqa, which means alleyway in Arabic. Qaddafi threatened to hunt down his opponents in alleyways.
But are there any? In other speeches he said this was just the work of foreign journalists...and that the people were being fed LSD...
Popular as this spoof was, there were some who objected to anything done by an Israeli, especially one who plays in a band called Hovevey Zion, as Mr Aloosha does, so some negative reactions came in. But many are finding it fun, no matter what the provenance. Some, however, requested that he edit it a bit and take out the scantily clad women. Make it kosher, or halal. And hope Qaddafi doesn't find out about this and hunt you down in your local zanqa.

Remember him? To him, MI6 was going to bump off Qaddafi...and after that he went to jail. Now he's claiming he's the Messiah and half of everything is a Zionist plot. Runs around wearing a skirt now too... |

I heard about this, thanks for posting the details Melvyn!
What happens when Ghadaffi starts saying the anti-government movement is a Zionist plot? This will get very confusing!
