How about first clearing out your own Augean stables by getting rid of tonge . Then the community will see that you mean business instead of skirting round this issue .

Without looking it up, do you even actually know what the Augean stables were? I assume that you are just using that phrase rhetorically without actually knowing what it means...

Matthew
Stop playing silly games .
You state " as a liberal however I cannot countenance a situation in which freedom for the majority means smashed windows for the minority .
Fine words if stated as you . Once you began " as a liberal " my stomach heaved .
You have the temerity to come here making noises about Tunisian antisemitism while your party turns a blind eye and refuses to kick out tonge . She of the " israel should launch an investigation into claims of organ seizure after the Haitian earthquake . A barely disguised allusion to a classic antisemitic trope .
So clean out your own house first . It was appropriate . That's why I said it as well you know .

Have the Lib dems seen fit to expel her from the party . If not why not . Does she retain the whip . If you want to appear credible , clear your own house before going on to obvious targets . There is no difference between either .

I am sorry that my caring about Tunisian Jews upsets you. You ask me a range of questions to which you already know the answer. When did I ever say that I wanted to appear credible? I am merely a British Jewish political activist who enjoys expressing opinions, which people are free to disagree with or ignore. "Credible" doesn't come into it.

My apologies . I should have said for your party to appear credible in their stand against antisemitism etc . It is not for clegg to decide on what is or is not antisemitism . It is for those who suffer the impact of it who are the arbiters .
As for your comment " about being sorry that my caring about what is happening Tunisia appears to upset you " . Of course it does not upset me . You make a very important point .
But it is possible to be concerned about both .

Yes indeed. I am sure that there is much that we agree on.
