It has changed slowly generally with regular boosts such as the Lebanon wars, the Sabra massacre, Cast Lead. There is an accelerating consciousness of the sheer brutality and illegality of the occupation,the shamelessness of the perpetual theft of land and resources and the flood of anti democratic and racist legislation. You are right about one thing though. People haven't changed. Israel has. The writing is on the wall. Israelis better wake up soon. |

Even if it were true that 'opinion is shifting' (and I challenge you to prove this, rather than that all the old hatreds that never went away are coming out), Israel does what is necessary to protect its citizens from Jihadi terrorists, not what is necessary to curry favour among Hampstead's chatterati ....
