A recent press release by ICAHD USA reads that Folk music legend Pete Seeger has come out in support of the growing Palestinian movement for Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) against Israel as a program for justice for Palestinians and a route to peace in the Middle East.
Jeff Halper, the Coordinator of ICAHD, added, “Pete did extensive research on this. He read historical and current material and spoke to neighbors, friends, and three rabbis before making his decision to support the boycott movement against Israel.” Seeger has for some time given some of the royalties from his famous Bible-based song from the 1960s, “Turn, Turn, Turn,” to ICAHD for their work in rebuilding demolished homes and exposing Israel’s practice of pushing Palestinians in Israel off their land in favor of the development of Jewish villages and cities.
Pete Seeger’s long-time colleague Theodore Bikel, an Israeli-American known for his life-long involvement with Israeli culture, recently supported the Israeli artists who have refused to perform in a new concert hall in Ariel, a large illegal Israeli settlement in the West Bank.

4 March, 2011 - 14:24 Rate this: -3 points | Lukas, just ignore him. Talk over him, in fact (not difficult, he's very short). Jose/Blacklisted Dictator/Anthony Posner will continue to play silly buggers with his delete and repost game. |
4 March, 2011 - 14:32 Rate this: -3 points | He is a funny little thing this Jose isn't he? You are correct, it's best to ignore him. My favourite is when he posts a blog and then posts replies to his own blogs. Usually as no one else ever replies to his blogs. |
4 March, 2011 - 14:35 Rate this: -2 points | Lukas, that's why he reposts them; because he is being ignored. He hates being ignored or people talking over his head. He also gives himself points. |
4 March, 2011 - 14:47 Rate this: -4 points | He even reposts over his friebds' heads so desperate Jose/Anthony Posner/Blacklisted Dictator for approval. It's pitiful, really. |
4 March, 2011 - 14:50 Rate this: -1 points | Did you just read his post regarding The Promise? Classic! Someone ought to compile a list of his entries for our delectation. They are hilariously desperate. |
jose (not verified) 4 March, 2011 - 15:27 Rate this: 0 points | Hey Lukas/Milligramsam, are you talking to yourself? |
jose (not verified) 4 March, 2011 - 15:30 Rate this: 0 points | By the way, simonsam who called me "Posner", whatever that means, was banned recently... Cause/effect relationship? |
4 March, 2011 - 15:33 Rate this: 0 points | Can we all stop advising others to ignore Jose but not doing so ourselves ? He really is very strange and very silly. The suggestion of Mr Millis that people should just talk over him is a very sound one. |
4 March, 2011 - 15:35 Rate this: 0 points | My father knows Pete Seeger very well - they have collaborated on projects together. Pete Seeger is a long time Communist, supporter of Stalin until it came to light that he had murdered millions of people. He also wanted to bring down the democratic government of the US. Yeah Lukas, let's really trust his judgment. Enough said. |
4 March, 2011 - 15:36 Rate this: 0 points | It should be noted that Lukas has turned up on the JC blogs to defend anti-Semitic terror organizations. He has defended Hamas, whilst attacking Israel. Lukas, you are an apologist for neo-Nazi hate organizations. Go away. JC, please take note that he supports Hamas. |
4 March, 2011 - 15:37 Rate this: 0 points | Kate, we should be talking over Millis, not Jose. |
4 March, 2011 - 15:38 Rate this: 0 points | Lukas, the Promise was anti-Semitic revisionist garbage. |
jose (not verified) 4 March, 2011 - 15:39 Rate this: 0 points | By the way, Katie, what did you contribute to these blogs except by attacking me personally? You are the strange person here, really, since you don't have anything to add to any conversation. Why did you come here for and what was your pseudo before you were thrown out? |
4 March, 2011 - 15:51 Rate this: -3 points | Absolutely right, Katie. Let's talk over his head. And I will endeavour to ignore him in order not to give Jose/Blacklisted Dictator/Anthony Posner the validation he so craves. |

So we thank very much Pete Seeger for refusing to take Israeli money and helping those who push others to do so. The more money Israel keeps in its banks, the better for the economy. With all that money, the government will be able to invest in many interesting projects, including the clean energy ones that will put an end to Muslim domination over the oil riches.
Thanks to such friends, 'Palestinians' don't need so many enemies.
