Nazism in Gaza and Judea Samaria

Hamas and Fatah have vowed to foil any attempt to teach the Holocaust in UNRWA-run schools in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

As if that was news!
The Nazi organisation HAMAS had to be also negationist. The 'moderate' Fatah is neither a surprise, to anyone but the most fanatic antisemites.

UNRWA will probably not cooperate totally, but will eventually give up a good part of the most "shocking" pages...

6 million... Can't be true !

This reminds me of something a Christian Friend of Israel told me recently.

After visiting Aushwitz he decided to tour schools in London teaching them about the holocaust. But in one school some parents (of a particular religious faith) objected, claiming they didn't want their children exposed to "propaganda".

Very, very disturbing.

Just like Israel does not allow its schools to teach anything of the Nakba and how the Palestinians were thrown out to make way for the Jewish state. Israelis and Palestinians are equally wrong over this.

Comparing Nakba to Holocaust shows simoneq for the antisemite she is. Antisemite to the utmost.

Mostly voluntary exile equated to genocide! I hope the moderator expell this one.

Simoneq, they do teach regional history in Israeli schools. Are you suggesting that they make it up?

Israel does not allow any mention of the Nakba in its schools and is therefore not teaching regional history correctly. Whether you like it or not you must not forget that to the Plaestinians the Nakba is as important as the Holocaust is to Jews.

simoneq has been mis-informed, the Nakba, as she/calls it refers to the self-imposed evacuation by some 700,000 Arabs living in pre-State Israel, to compare this with the systematic genocide by the Nazis of some 6,000,000 of Europes Jews is plain silly.
Or, perhaps as Jose put's it, he/she is an anti-semite and should not be given space to comment/blog on the JC web-site.

JC, you removed my comment. Yet you allow a comment stating "European Jews stole the land", and another equating the Holocaust with the so-called "Nakba", to remain.

Why don't you implement a sensible and consistent policy? Allowing comments which equate Israel to Nazis, or an apartheid state,is not about free debate. It is vilification and racism, and that you allow such comments to remain is appalling.

All the more reason that they need to be taught about the Holocaust then, because clearly if they see the two events as equal then they have no understanding of the Holocaust.
