And it has been interesting to see Israel getting so scared by a few lil rubber dinghies.
It's all a giant own goal. Once again Israel demonstrates itself to be a lawless state. The siege of Gaza gets massive publicity, publicity that is going now to be dragged out all summer rather than confined to a few days.
And at the end of it all the ships either together or, better still from a publicity point of view, one at a time, eventually sail for Gaza.
Obviously the flotilla organisers have been naive in not anticipating the degree of ruthless lawlessness they would encounter, but they will have learned a great deal from the experience and the same mistakes won't be made again.
And yet Israel blunders on to September and further sailings next summer. No wonder foreign diplomats in Tel Aviv
despair and ask " will Israel not wake up until it gets the full South Africa treatment ? "

Israel was only concerned to prevent loss of life your sick buddies were looking for death that's the difference between us - get your facts straight the blockade is legal attempting to break it is illegal not knowing the difference between right and wrong is most of your problem. |

The Grauniad - is that the best you can do Odious - not even going to bother reading anything that rag puts out. Fact is you and your dummy friends have failed miserably as you always will. The world has now seen through the charade, half the ships not sailing at all and half the participants including the embedded journalists gone home. This had nothing to do with humanitariansism but everything to do with anti-Semitism and hatred of the Jewish State - good riddance!
