Perhaps the worst example of biased reporting to date was The Times of London. They ran a picture of the Israeli Iron Dome rockets launched to intercept and (hopefully) shoot down the Palestinian barrage, and labelled it as an Israeli attack on Gaza.

" Folks we are to be descended upon by four sour looking characters engaged on a mission of protest. They have, apparently, declared an intention to turn the business of the standards required of Barnet councillors into some kind of God Save Israel melodrama. Well we can't have these guys going hungry especially as they have ventured so far from their works canteen. We better lay some biscuits on." |
Fri, 03/23/2012 - 16:57 Rate this: 0 points | Yea, but Israel did start shooting first. Just like in the Cast Lead massacre. Israel started shooting first. |
Fri, 03/23/2012 - 17:05 Rate this: 0 points | Well obviously that's what you are going to believe if you watch Al Jazeera. Even Hamas admitted that the majority of casualties in Caste lead were terrorists only it did not call them that of course. |
Fri, 03/23/2012 - 17:59 Rate this: 0 points | Oh, Advsr3 every news agency reported the Israeli murders of militants as being the catalyst for the militant's response. Even the right wing press reported it as such. |

The curious case of the disappearing biscuits

Shame on you for the smear with that photo.
The EDL smear was comprehensively demolished here:

The only people who peddle it are the Israel Haters. They do not - or cannot - deal in facts.
Instead they deal in despicable innuendoes and smears.
Shame on them - and shame on you
As for the biscuits - there was nothing to say that they were solely for the Committee - another smear.

Jonathan: if this is really you - if anyone has been smeared, it is Charlotte Jago and Ron Cohen. They support the state of Israel, as do I, - they also have a conscience, and worry about the need for justice and peace in the Palestinian territories - as do I. You need to stop seeing the issue in such simplistic terms, and accept that it is a very complex matter, and that people are entitled to hold a range of different views on the subject, without being accused of the vile smear of being 'anti semites'.
I wouldn't worry about the biscuits.
